If you haven’t been to Southside yet, you’re missing out! This little spot has the best drinks, the sweetest owner Tanya Hale, and a great selection of gifts. Stop in and treat yourself — you’ll be so glad you did. ”

“ I've been watching their ads on Culpeper community for about 6 months. Thursday I decided to stop in and give it a try. I got the roast beef sandwich which was delicious very good I also got a couple of Apple donuts which was the best I ever had. I will definitely be stopping in here again for lunch. I definitely want to try some of their oversized muffins. So if you like fresh food and great atmosphere this is definitely the place to stop at and by the way you can also have a cold beer or a cocktail. Definitely worth checking out ”

“ A very welcoming spot! A personal pet-peeve of mine is when people advertise a pumpkin spice drink but it lacks all spices and is only made with syrups. Look at all the spices in this delicious pumpkin spice Chai! Sadly the Chai is made with a syrup instead of a brewed tea but honestly the drink was so yummy I barely even noticed. It was perfect on this chilly, rainy morning. I spent a good portion of the day here working on my laptop and when I needed a sandwich I told her to make me something and it was a delicious sandwich with fresh-sliced meat. I'll be back! ”

“ Quaint hidden gem inside of the Southgate shopping center. Stopped in for a quick breakfast consisting of a hot dark roast coffee, bacon egg & cheese on an English muffin followed by an apple donut. Options of food and drink were plentiful. Staff were polite and curtious, food presentation and taste was spot on. Enjoyed the setting which allows different seating for one to find their favorite spot to relax. Spoke with the owner about their FB Page and music events hosted throughout the week. Will definitely be returning and am sharing this 5***** review! ”

Everything we’ve ever had drink and food wise has been amazingly delicious! I absolutely love the chai tea. Our entire family loves going to Southside & we adore the owner Tanya who has really become family! “ Hands down BEST coffee shop in Culpeper! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious and the coffee is consistently great. Also, the hot chocolate is a yummy tasty treat. I recommend the chicken salad on croissant if there for lunch, it is a generous portion of chicken salad on a large flaky croissant. ”

“ A lovely spot with excellent drinks, and fresh and delicious pastries and baked goods. Honestly the chai latte is the best I've had in a long time, perfectly spicy and lightly sweet. Highly recommend!! ”

“ What a great little place! I’m old and an eater and that was probably one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. The caramel macchiato was way better than Starbucks. Place was clean and staff was super friendly. It’s a little hidden but worth searching out. Wish we lived closer. ”
